Kind to the Planet and to Baby's Delicate Skin

Mini-la-Mode's entire range is made with love by traditional artisans in Peru. Only the softest fabrics are used to create luxuriously classic products that are designed to last and be passed down through generations. Every step of the making of
our special collection incorporates Sustainable, Eco-Ethic and Fair-Trade practices.

Pima Cotton Production

We are committed to using sustainably sourced pure Pima cotton for every single design.
True Pima cotton is grown at altitude, in the Pima region of the High Andes and is hand-picked, rather than machine harvested, producing longer fibres, resulting in an unrivalled soft and silky fabric which is the ideal choice for delicate skin. It is cultivated on traditional family farms, using ancient, sustainable, organic farming methods, which have remained unchanged for hundreds of years, vastly reducing the environmental impact of cotton production.

Fair wage

Mini-la-Mode's garments are hand-smocked and hand-embroidered by skilled Peruvian artisans, mostly women, enabling those with young children to work from home and earn an income of their own. We ensure fair employment for all workers carrying out this special work.

Certification

Our products are recognised for being Fair Trade and Oeko Tex certified.
