Shipping & Returns

DELIVERY

Once your credit card has been approved, and your delivery/billing address verified, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse by our couriers, Fedex or Royal Mail. Dispatch will be made to your stated delivery address and a signature will be required upon delivery to ensure safe arrival. We aim to dispatch your orders as soon as possible provided that the requested items are available. For orders placed and completed before 3pm (GMT) Monday to Friday, we aim to dispatch on the same day. For orders placed after 3pm (GMT) we will dispatch your order on the next working day. To ensure prompt delivery we must have accurate and complete address details to ensure we can make one delivery charge per delivery address. A daytime telephone number is required in case we or our delivery agents need to contact you.

SHIPPING

For shipments within the UK we offer two rates; Express Delivery which delivers to most UK post codes* on the next working day, and Standard Delivery which delivers to most UK post codes* 2 to 3 days after posting. UK deliveries will be handled on our behalf by Fedex or Royal Mail (our nominated couriers). (* note that some UK post codes such as Scottish Highlands and Islands require extra time for delivery to be made) For shipments outside the UK we will use Fedex International Priority courier service. The following table is a guide to the delivery timing you should expect. This summarizes the number of working days between the despatch of your order from our warehouse, to the day of delivery to your nominated delivery address.

PACKAGING

Your Mini-la-Mode purchase will be beautifully gift-wrapped in our chic, bespoke packaging. Usually, the orders are further encased in exterior cardboard boxes. If your order is a gift, we will be happy to add a hand written gift card with your delivery. Just let us know what you want to say on the gift card at the time of placing your order.

VAT

For items where VAT is applicable, Mini-la-mode.com prices include UK VAT for all EU customers. For deliveries to customers outside the EU the UK VAT element, if it applies to that product, will be deducted from the sales price.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: DUTIES AND TAXES

For shipping destination outside the EEC, please note that your order will be shipped exclusive of import duties and customs charges: your order will be shipped as DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). In certain countries you may also be requested to pay additional import duties and local sales taxes at the time your order is delivered to you.

In the event that you wish to return any item, please note that import duties and local sales taxes will not be refundable by us.

EXCHANGES/RETURNS/REFUND

We hope that you will be delighted with your Mini-la-Mode purchase. We understand however that on occasion you may want to change or return an item for a different size or colour. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon receipt, before removing any attached tags and before disposing of the original packaging. You may return your goods to us and we will refund your purchase in full, except for the delivery charge, provided that the goods are received by us unused, in a perfect, saleable condition, with all tags attached. We will not accept returns for non-faulty items which have been worn and/or tags removed. We also require that you return the goods to us within 15 days of the date on which we dispatched your original order. We regret that certain underwear items such as underpants and knickers cannot be returned and we would request that you check your sizing carefully when ordering these items. In the interests of hygiene and security we are unable to offer a refund on cosmetics, lotions or creams. All items returned as ‘faulty’ will be inspected by us, and any items deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.

RETURNS PROCEDURES

Please note that any international duties and taxes are not refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

When we receive your returned item(s), we will check the items and will only process them as returns if all the tags are in place. Provided the goods are returned in the same condition as we shipped them, we will arrange the refund against your credit/debit card. This refund will be done within 10 days of Mini-la-Mode having received the returned goods.
